PREMIERE SCHOOLS of DANCE was established in 1989 by Principal Alison Burkert, offering students of all ages the opportunity to experience the joy of dancing. Whether just for pleasure, or professional training for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing exams.

Every two years, the schools come together to stage a charity show for an invited audience. Each student performs in this exciting event in support of their chosen Children’s charity the RHYS DANIELS TRUST Home from Home appeal.
The remainder of the school year is devoted to coaching for the I.S.T.D. exam entries focusing on BALLET, TAP, JAZZ, MODERN THEATRE DANCING with a near 100% success RATE. Some students also enjoy the acting classes and take part in LAMDA speech and drama festivals as well as exam achievements.
One of the most popular ADULT classes is the TAP DANCING for beginners and improvers, they are also invited to join in the Ballet and Modern Jazz senior classes.
The London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art - L.A.M.D.A. - is an internationally recognised society in the performing arts. The examination syllabus offers speech and drama subjects to people of all ages and encourages the study of classical and modern literature, history of theatre, playwrights, poets and authors in its grade syllabus selection. A range of subjects in speech and drama from Introductory through to Gold Medal is offered.
